The decades of experience in the development and production of valve assemblies and actuators in automotive and industry, we successfully transfer the mechanical skills into the modern era. Our assemblies are designed with sensors and integrated control according to customer requirements.

We serve all common digital interfaces in automotive and industry. In addition to the control with linear management, we offer especially for the use in electromobility, consumption assortment actuators and valves, which are driven by electric motors. In contrast to linear management, the actuator only needs to be energized during the actual adjustment.

In research projects funded by the German government, PMA is working with partners to develop high-performance valves. As part of the development, the output is also optimized over the life cycle by means of various sensors (pressure, flow rate, temperature and valve position). The first series products from these developments will be delivered in 2023/24 and, in line with the Prettl GoZero activities, will further reduce the impact on our environment.

Linear and Rotational Actuators

Our modules are developed according to customer requirements, primarily for use in electric vehicles. Depending on the application, these are designed classically via a PWM interface or with integrated control via a LIN or CAN interface, for example. We integrate sensors and microswitches for position detection as required and in consideration of the production costs.
